Pen and Ink drawing by Alaska artist Gail Niebrugge depicts the historic Kennicott copper mine in the Wrangell-St. Elias National Park in its condition before acquisition by the park (circa 1990). Today the ancient wooden structure is being stabilized and in many cases restored. The Kennicott Poster is printed in black, white and red on regular poster paper and is a fine memento of this special place. This is one of seven prints by artist Gail Niebrugge documenting the changes in this amazing destination, who has made it an important part of her work in Alaska since 1976. The most recent art print “Kennicott;Stabilized” and a mini print “Kennicott;Stabilized” are available, a limited number of artist proofs of sold out “Frozen Copper” and “Window Views” may still be available, all the other art prints are sold out.
